When the mind gets tangled and advertising doesn't seem to fulfill my creative spirit, I take to crocheting. It is my kind of craft - creative and yet there is a method to it. Counting those increases, measuring how many rounds of stiches are needed and calculating where to plant the next decreasing stitch seem therapeutic. The process of creating something from scratch, seeing it gradually take form and transcend into joy for someone else satisfies my creative soul.
